Here's exactly what happens when you verify your income with FinSight โ and why each step is designed the way it is.
Choose your bank from the list and securely link your account through our licensed open-banking partner. This connection is read-only โ FinSight can see your transaction history, but can never move money in or out of your account.
Before any data is pulled, you see exactly what's being shared, why, and for how long. You can revoke this consent at any time from your account settings โ access stops immediately when you do.
Your 90 days of transaction history is classified and scored across five weighted factors: income stability, affordability, account conduct, income diversity, and account tenure. Every score comes with its full breakdown, visible to you.
Choose the report type you need โ Income Verification, Loan Affordability, Rent Affordability, or a Visa-Ready Summary โ all from the same score. Reports stay valid for 60 days and can be shared via a secure link.
No. Your bank connection is strictly read-only. FinSight can view your transaction history to calculate a score, but has no ability to initiate payments, transfers, or withdrawals from your account.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is governed by NDPR-compliant consent that you control and can revoke at any time. We never sell your data.
Connecting your bank and generating your first score typically takes a few minutes, once you're connected. Reports generate instantly from your existing score.
FinSight is built specifically for this. Our scoring model rewards regular, verifiable income patterns โ not just a single formal salary โ so freelancers, gig workers, and small business owners are assessed fairly.
Reports are valid for 60 days. After that, simply reconnect to refresh your score and generate a new report โ your bank details are never stored beyond what's needed to support an active report.
